Mrs. DiMartino is currently the middle school principal.  She joined the Elmwood Park School District in 2007.  In her career as an educator at EP, she was given the opportunity to assume the roles of Science Supervisor and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Before arriving to EP, Mrs. DiMartino taught science at Northern Highlands Regional High School.  She received her M.Ed from Montclair State University and a B.S. from Saint Peter's College.

Mrs. DiMartino is dedicated to creating a learning community where everyone works together to create a safe learning environment, where all students are able to effectively communicate their beliefs and become responsible learners accountable for their academic progress.  She challenges students to think critically, strive to achieve their personal best, and be involved in extracurricular activities.

The administration and teachers are continually assessing and monitoring student achievement data to help guide future instruction applicable to 21st century learning.  In addition, the team is working to create learning opportunities, which are student-centered and allow for ample opportunities for analysis and discussion within the classroom.   

Memorial Middle School is a place where failure is NOT an option and we are all dedicated to help each student achieve success.
