Ms. Carmen M. Cueto
¡Bienvenidos a mi clase!
Ms. Cueto has been teaching in the Elmwood Park School District since
2001. She began her teaching career in Elmwood Park Memorial Middle
School teaching 7th and 8th grade Spanish. This will be her fifth year
teaching Spanish Levels I and II in Elmwood Park Memorial High School.
She graduated with honors from William Paterson University with a BA in
Spanish and Secondary Education. She later completed her Masters from
the University of Salamanca in Spanish and Culture. Ms. Cueto
has traveled to Barcelona, Spain and received her TEFL International
TESOL Certification which allows her to teach English as a Second
Language overseas. Recently, she attend the 2016 Holocaust Commision and studied the Holocaust abroad in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and The Netherlands. Ms. Cueto loves to travel, has a passion for art, and
has a strong desire learning about other people's culture. She is
always enthusiastic and strongly believes that every child that comes to
her classroom has the capability of growing and learning in ways they
never thought possible. She hopes that with her experience, dedication,
and creativity, she may become a positive role model while making a
difference in children's lives.
Each student will need the following supplies:
3-Subject Notebook (Notebook will be divided into three different sections: Do Now Activities, Class Notes and Homework Assignments)
Blue or Black Pen
In addition to the above supplies, students are to bring his/her iPad or Chromebook and textbook to class everyday.
